What is it?
Healing on the streets is where ordinary people get to experience extraordinary things. It is our prayer ministry in the heart of our community. Each week people come to Stevenage town centre to shop and they also get the opportunity to receive healing prayer. We started Healing on the streets in Stevenage on the 16th May 2009 and it is based on a ministry which originated in the Causeway Coast Vineyard in Northern Ireland where teams have been praying for people in Coleraine town centre every Saturday with amazing results. Healing on the streets teams are now working in churches across the UK and Europe to bring people into a healing encounter with Jesus.
What do we do?
Once a month the team gather in the main Shopping Centre at 11.30am – 1.30pm to pray for the needs of people in our town. Our time begins by inviting God to reveal his love to the people who come. Then we simply invite people in the town to take a seat as we pray for them.
How can you get involved?
Getting involved is the beginning of a life changing journey. You can sign up with Mike & Sara Nash who will provide you with copies of three seminars by Mark Marx, the founder of Healing on the streets. Having listened to these CDs you can attend our next Friday evening training session. The next day there is a short question and answer session at the Vineyard Centre after which you have the opportunity to join the prayer team in the Westgate Centre from 11.30am to 1.30pm. The training takes you through the various aspects of the ministry and provides you with hands on experience on the Saturday. You will then have the opportunity to join one of the teams who minister regularly on the streets.
