Foodshed
At Foodshed, we aim to welcome you into a friendly and inviting space, in which you can receive the help that you need in the form of food parcels.
We’re a referral based food bank, so if you’re being supported by a charity/ organisation/ school etc then ask them to get in contact with us, and we’ll be able to talk them through the steps to referral. If you’re in need, but unsure of who can refer you, then get in contact with us and we’ll be able to support you through this
.As an independent food bank, we’re run completely by the generosity of our town and community. We receive donations that our team of volunteers check, sort and make food bags from.
We’ll try our best to help with any requests that you have for things that you might need. If you have any dietary requirements please let a volunteer know and we can provide you with appropriate food.
How to Donate
Thank you so much for your help and support! We couldn’t do what we do without the support of the people and businesses in Stevenage. We have donation baskets around the town in:

We post our most needed items on our Facebook page monthly, but you can’t go wrong with tins of meat, veg, potatoes and fruit, cereal, biscuits, UHT milk, tea and coffee.
How to Access Foodshed
Foodshed is open to anyone living in Stevenage and surrounding villages that have been referred to us by a charity/ school/ organisation. There is a drop-in session on a Wednesday at The Vineyard Centre, where those that have been referred can come up and collect their food bags.
